DIRECT DIGITAL
MANUFACTURING

Harvest utilizes its Laser Sintering (LS) process for Direct Digital Manufacturing (DDM), a tool-less manufacturing process that provides an economical solution for low to mid-volume production of fully functional parts. The laser sintering process builds parts without the cost and time associated with traditional manufacturing, while its layer-additive technology allows complex designs to be fabricated easily with little to no assembly.

Harvest Technologies is an ISO9001:2008/AS9100 rev C registered manufacturer that employs rigorous internal process controls and part integrity verification. Harvest provides a full suite of on-site testing, including: tensile testing, flexural testing, flame-retardancy, and scanning. We have 12 laser sintering machines internally qualified to produce flight certified hardware for manned and unmanned aerospace industries including complete, ready-to-mount assemblies. Our highly scientific approach to direct part manufacturing allows us to produce parts that meet custom objectives and project-specific requirements.

With cutting-edge technology and a wide variety of engineering-grade materials we are able to meet a diverse array of needs. Harvest is also the only additive manufacturer in the United States that is certified to produce both commercial and military aircraft parts and assemblies. Our resources allow us to handle projects of any size and complexity, including those requiring management of multiple processes and secondary operations. Processes we commonly utilize include:

  • - LS (Laser Sintering)
  • - Post-processing
  • - Painting and finishing
  • - Assembly
  • - Material properties testing
  • - Source inspection
