3D PRINTING

Similar to inkjet printers, most machines in this process deposit material or binder from print heads to create three dimensional (3D) objects. The FDM process extrudes various plastics through a heated nozzle layer-by-layer.

Using our various production options, customers can find a selection that will meet their needs:

Polyjet

  • - Layers as thin as 16 microns
  • - X-Y resolution as small as 42 microns
  • - Exceptional detail and surface finish
  • - Print multiple materials/colors simultaneously
  • - Rubber-like materials available
  • - Best available dimensional accuracy over Z-Corp and FDM

Z-Corp

  • - Layer thickness of .0035"
  • - 600 x 540 dpi resolution
  • - Fast and economical production
  • - Full 24-bit color (CMYK)
  • - Uses a high-performance plaster composite powder
  • - Finer detail than FDM

FDM (Fused Deposition Modeling):

  • - 0.010" layer thickness
  • - Minimum feature size of .020"
  • - Minimum wall thickness of .032"
  • - Parts built in Polycarbonate, ABS, PC/ABS composites, and Ultem 9085
  • - More coarse appearance than Z-Corp and Polyjet
